Whether you are a novice wanting to discover and learn how to use your voice, or a seasoned singer seeking to develop your skills and take your singing to the next level- we can help. URBAN VOICE
An exciting 10 week course for those who want to gain practical experience in singing, explore their own instrument and gain an understanding of the art of singing; this is a great place to work on your voice and make new friends!
Level 1: FOUNDATION
By the end of the course you will have grown in confidence as a singer and performer and have gained a good foundation in preparing to take your singing to the next level.
A certificate of completion is awarded to those who complete the course.
θ Entry Requirements: NONE
Level 2: THE BIG SING
The next level of the Urban Voice course will stretch you in your singing ability! It further explores some of the essential singing techniques required to excel in singing. The course will major in tackling songs, which are more demanding and of a more complex nature than level 1 – prepare to be challenged! Urban voice 2 will culminate with an intimate and private concert for your friends and family.
A certificate of completion is awarded to those who complete the course.
θ Entry requirements: Level 1
Level 3: SOLO ARTIST
Urban voice 3 is for the singer who is preparing to develop as a solo singer. The course is taught within a group context and majors on peer support, assessment and feedback. During the term you will work on a selection of performance pieces, the course culminates with a performance by each student in a concert setting. A final assessment document will be given at the end of the course, which will summarise the student’s skill level, work, progress and achievement throughout the course.
A certificate of completion is awarded to those who complete the course.
θ Entry Requirement: Level 1&2 (Or equivalent)
This level climaxes with a concert performance.

GROUP TUITION
We specialise in working with groups of 4 to 50 vocalists coaching for regular church services, events or gigs. If you are involved in a team that requires group singing tuition, event preparation, or help with rehearsals then please get in touch with Melody Vocal Academy.

CHURCHES
